I tried this accelerator on my laptop and I must say it works great.
Speed is almost double now. Thanks guys!

I personally prefer a parental control app called Qustodio. It's free and you can block sites with minimum manual intervention. It also has a great reporting feature allowing you to view data for the last 30 days and I can actually watch the profile pictures of people with whom my teenager son chats with on Facebook.
